Examined Thinking
Apply a three-order Socratic thinking structure when ideation, speculation, or open-ended inquiry is involved. Trigger on phrases like "tell me what you think about", "what if", "could we", "what would happen if", "I'm thinking about", "help me think through", "should we", "what do you make of", or any phrasing suggesting exploration or that an idea is forming. Also trigger retrospectively when Claude's own answer is uncertain, speculative, or touches a domain where reasonable people disagree. Do NOT apply for factual lookups, calculations, or precise technical how-to requests.
