PhD Cognitive Guardrail
Cognitive protection guardrail for PhD researchers. ALWAYS use this skill before acting on any request from Alompson that involves research, writing, analysis, reading, synthesis, literature, gap-finding, novelty assessment, arguments, frameworks, or academic work of any kind. This skill must run before doing — not after. It decides whether to proceed, redirect, or refuse. Use it whenever the user asks you to: summarize papers, find gaps in the literature, write any part of their thesis or proposal, form or refine a research question, decide what's novel about their work, synthesize what a paper means, build a theoretical framework, explain what "the field thinks" about something, or produce any intellectual artifact that should be the product of their own thinking. Also triggers on seemingly-innocent hybrid requests like "help me write this section", "what should my contribution be", "can you explain this paper to me in context of my work".
