How to call the API

Do not call the MCP tools directly — the OpenAPI-to-MCP bridge cannot send multipart/form-data, so all tool calls arrive with empty content. Always use curl via the Bash tool:

Rules:

• Always use -s (silent)
• Always use -o for binary output (PDF, image, ZIP)
• Field name is file for document endpoints
• Use escaped double quotes: -F "options={\"pages\":\"1-5\"}"
• For merge and from-images, send multiple -F "file=@..." fields

Accepts: DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, DOC, XLS, PPT, ODT, ODS, ODP, RTF. No options needed.

Edge cases

• to-image: returns single image for 1 page, ZIP for multiple
• text: non-OCR (embedded text only, not scanned docs)
• merge: 2-50 files max
• from-images: 1-50 images, accepts any image format
• protect: owner_password is required; user_password defaults to empty (no open password)
• office-to-pdf: accepts DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, DOC, XLS, PPT, ODT, ODS, ODP, RTF
• Max file size: 10 MB per file

After the call

Report: operation, page count (if applicable), file sizes, output path.
