Database Query

Execute SQL queries against enterprise databases through a managed MCP connection with connection pooling, rate limiting, and full observability.

When to Use This Skill

Use this skill when the user asks to:

• Query customer data, revenue reports, or business metrics
• Look up records in enterprise databases
• Generate data summaries or aggregations
• Run ad-hoc analytical queries

Instructions

1. Parse the user's natural language request into a SQL query.
2. Identify the target database (default: "enterprise").
3. Validate the query is read-only (SELECT statements only for safety).
4. Call the database_query tool with the SQL and database parameters.
5. Format the results as a readable table or summary.
