Add Candidate

Current Employer Relation

After creating the candidate, automatically link to Company Core:

1. If Current Company is provided, search Company Core using notion-search
2. Try exact match first, then strip suffixes (Therapeutics, Pharmaceuticals, Inc, Pharma, Bio, Biosciences)
3. If found: set the Current Employer relation to the matched Company Core page
4. If NOT found: create a new Company Core entry with the company name, then link

Roles Submitted Relation

If the user mentions a specific role or Active Search:

1. Search Active Searches by Role Title (contains match)
2. If found and Status = Active or Closed - Filled, link to Roles Submitted
3. If multiple matches, ask user to clarify

Workflow

1. Parse Input: Extract candidate details from whatever format the user provides
2. Confirm Details: Show extracted information and ask for confirmation/corrections
3. Create Candidate: Create the candidate record in Notion
4. Link Company: Auto-match and link Current Employer via Company Core
5. Link Role (if applicable): Link to Active Search if role mentioned
6. Report: Confirm creation with links to the new pages

Input Formats

The user can provide candidate info in any format:

• Paste a resume or LinkedIn summary
• Provide structured fields
• Describe in natural language
• Forward an email thread

Parse intelligently and ask for clarification only if critical info is ambiguous.

User: /add-candidate John Smith, VP Clinical at Pfizer, [email protected], submitting for the Aditum CMO role

Action:

1. Extract: Name=John Smith, Title=VP Clinical, Company=Pfizer, Email=[email protected], Role=Aditum CMO
2. Confirm with user
3. Create candidate in Notion
4. Search Company Core for "Pfizer" - found, link
5. Search Active Searches for "Chief Medical Officer" at Aditum - found, link
6. Report with links
