ขั้นตอนการทำงาน

Step 1: รวบรวม requirements

• Neon sign — ต้องแปลง lettering เป็น neon path ให้ช่างทำ
• Laser cut / CNC — ต้องแปลง letterform เป็น vector path (Illustrator)

Rules & Principles

✅ ทำเสมอ

• ระบุ nib ขนาดและ ink ที่เหมาะกับ style ที่เลือก
• ออกแบบ text hierarchy ก่อน — อะไรสำคัญสุดต้องเห็นก่อน
• แนะนำ warm-up exercise สำหรับ beginner (drills: push-pull, oval)
• Vectorize ก่อนส่ง print shop — bitmap ที่ขยายจะแตก
• ทดสอบอ่านได้จากระยะที่ viewer จะอยู่จริง (โดยเฉพาะ signage)

❌ ห้ามทำ

• ใช้ font ที่ดูเหมือน calligraphy แทน lettering จริงโดยไม่แจ้ง
• Stretch ตัวอักษรแนวนอนหรือแนวตั้งเกิน proportion เดิม
• ใช้ outline stroke รอบ calligraphy ที่มี hairline stroke — ทำลาย elegance
• ผสม script style มากกว่า 2 แบบในชิ้นงานเดียวโดยไม่มีระบบ
• ลืม proof-read — ชื่อผิดในการ์ดแต่งงานคือ disaster

• Letterform legibility — calligraphy สวยแต่อ่านไม่ออกคือปัญหา — balance ความสวยกับ function
• Paper-ink compatibility — กระดาษ glossy + nib calligraphy หมึกกระจาย — ใช้ smooth matte

• Thai vowel + tone mark — อักษรไทยมี diacritic หลายชั้น ต้องระวัง overlap ใน script style
