5. VA Home Loan

Value: On a $300K home — saves $3,750-9,900 in funding fee alone
Action: Use for next home purchase or refinance. Compare rates regularly.
6. Property Tax Deductions (Indiana-Specific)
Deduction 1 (IC 6-1.1-12-14): $24,960 deduction for wartime veteran with 10%+ VA disability
Deduction 2 (IC 6-1.1-12-14.5): $14,000 deduction for totally disabled veteran (assessed value < $240K)
