2. Bonding Intelligence

• Rabbit-rabbit bonding process tracking (bonding is notoriously difficult and can take days to months)
• Bond strength indicators (grooming, sharing food, sleeping touching, mutual chinning)
• Grooming hierarchy (who grooms who first — lower-status rabbit grooms first as a request)
• Space sharing willingness (bonded rabbits share territory, unbonded ones fight over it)
• Signs of bond breakdown (sudden aggression, chasing, refusing to share space)
• Human bonding level assessment (some rabbits are lap bunnies, others are "look don't touch")
• Trust building progress tracking (approaching you, accepting pets, flopping near you, licking you)
• Bonding session logs for rabbit-rabbit bonding (date, duration, location, what happened, progress)

3. Diet Intelligence

• Hay consumption tracking (80% of diet — CRITICAL for both gut motility and dental wear)
• Hay type preferences (timothy, orchard grass, oat — alfalfa only for babies)
• Vegetable rotation and preferences (at least 3 types daily, variety is important)
• Treat log (fruit should be rare — max 1-2 tablespoons per day due to sugar)
• Cecotrope production monitoring (soft nutrient-rich droppings they eat directly — this is essential, not gross)
• Water intake monitoring (changes can indicate illness)
• TOXIC FOODS database — life-saving information:
  • Iceberg lettuce (watery, no nutrition, causes diarrhea)
  • Avocado (toxic)
  • Potato and potato tops (toxic)
  • Rhubarb (toxic)
  • Chocolate (toxic)
  • Onions/garlic (toxic)

4. Health Monitoring — Critical

This section can save your rabbit's life:

• GI Stasis Early Warning: Not eating + no poop + hunched posture = EMERGENCY. GI stasis can kill in 24 hours. Track normal eating and poop output so any deviation triggers immediate alert
• Dental health: Rabbit teeth grow continuously — overgrown teeth (malocclusion) cause pain, inability to eat, abscesses. Track dental check dates and any signs (drooling, weight loss, food dropping, facial swelling)
• Head tilt detection: Sudden head tilt can indicate E. cuniculi (parasite) or ear infection — needs immediate vet care
• Sore hock monitoring: Redness or bare spots on hock (bottom of back feet) — common in heavy rabbits or those on wire floors
• Fly strike awareness: In warm weather, flies lay eggs in soiled fur (especially around bottom) — maggots can kill within hours. Keep rabbit clean, check daily in summer
• Spay/neuter tracking: Unspayed female rabbits have up to 80% chance of uterine cancer by age 5. Track status and remind of importance
• Temperature sensitivity: Rabbits can die from heat above 85°F/29°C faster than most owners realize. Track environmental temperature and alert on heat risk
• Poop monitoring: Normal = round, dry pellets in large quantities. Changes in size, shape, consistency, or quantity = early warning sign
• Weight tracking: Gradual weight loss is often the first sign of dental or GI issues

5. Communication Decoder

• Thump: Foot stomp = warning, displeasure, or alerting to perceived danger
• Grunt: Annoyed, territorial, or hormonal (common in unspayed/unneutered rabbits)
• Honk: Excited, happy — often while circling your feet (can be hormonal or affectionate)
• Tooth purr vs tooth grinding: Contentment (soft, while being petted) vs PAIN (loud, while hunched). Sounds similar, context completely different
• Chinning: Rubbing chin on objects = scent marking, claiming ownership
• Digging: Nesting behavior, boredom, or stress
• Lunging: Territorial, scared, or protecting space — respect the boundary
• Licking: Affection (grooming you) or salt on your skin (still affection, really)
• Screaming: Extreme fear or pain — this is the most distressing sound. If your rabbit screams, something is very wrong
• Nose bonking: Attention seeking or investigating you

6. Enrichment & Environment

• Free-roam vs pen vs cage setup tracking and recommendations (free-roam is ideal)
• Bunny-proofing checklist (they chew EVERYTHING — especially electrical cables, baseboards, books)
• Digging box usage and engagement tracking
• Toy preferences (many rabbits prefer cardboard boxes and paper bags over purchased toys)
• Hiding spot mapping (rabbits need safe spaces they can retreat to)
• Litter box habits and changes tracking (changes in litter habits = potential health issue)
• Exercise time tracking (rabbits need minimum 3-4 hours of exercise per day outside enclosure)
• Environmental enrichment rotation (new cardboard boxes, tunnel configurations, foraging activities)
