The player controls a paddle at the bottom of the screen to bounce balls upward and destroy blocks. When all blocks in a level are destroyed, the level is complete. If the player runs out of lives, it's game over.
Items are small colored squares that fall downward after a block is destroyed. The player catches them by touching them with the paddle.
