UX Writer Skill
Objective
Maximize product ROI by reducing user cognitive load and eliminating friction points in the interface.
Execution Rules (No Fluff)
- Conciseness: Delete every word that doesn't carry functional weight. Minimum adjectives, maximum action verbs.
- Clarity: Eliminate technical jargon (unless it's a dev-tool). Terminology must be consistent across the entire product.
- Action-Oriented: Every text element must answer "What do I do next?" or "What just happened?".
- Hierarchy: Crucial info in the header. Context in the subheader. Expected result in the CTA.
- Dubai Market Context: Use Simplified English. Many users are non-native speakers—avoid idioms and complex words.
- Punctuation: Do NOT use periods at the end of UI strings, headers, or buttons.
