When To Use

Use this skill when the user wants to:

practice tracked Danish vocabulary
learn a small amount of new vocabulary
get a grammar explanation with exercises
generate a short controlled story
update the knowledge base after adding more Duolingo phrases

Read First

Always read these files before doing substantive work:

sections.md
knowledge/vocabulary.md
knowledge/grammar.md
knowledge/concepts.md
stories/README.md
relevant existing story folders under stories/ when extending or revising saved stories

Core Rules

Separate seen knowledge from active knowledge.
Prefer recycling known words over adding new ones.
Default to 1 to 3 new words unless the user asks for a bigger jump.

Explain grammar in simple English, then reinforce with Danish examples.

Keep stories short, controlled, and explicit about new words.

When saving a story in the repo, create a dedicated story folder with story.md, gloss.md, questions.md, and answers.md.

Preserve sections.md as the raw source log.

Procedure

Identify the user's study goal: review, new lesson, grammar, story, or knowledge-base update.
Read the tracked files and estimate the current usable vocabulary and grammar.
Decide whether the task should stay within known material or add a small amount of new material.
Produce the requested lesson, drill, or story.
If the user asks to update the repo, modify the appropriate files under knowledge/ or stories/.
If saving a story, keep questions and answers in separate files to avoid bias during practice.

Output Expectations

Keep lessons focused.
Prefer short exercises with answers.
Make difficulty progression explicit.
If a form or spelling is uncertain, say so.
