Critique a UI like a design director. Use for blunt UX/UI feedback on hierarchy, IA, composition, legibility, interaction, responsive resilience, and AI-slop tells.
Conduct a real design critique, not a style summary.
Start from the user's goal and evaluate whether the interface supports it clearly, credibly, and gracefully. Use frontend-design as the baseline for anti-patterns and design quality.
Check whether the work looks statistically generic:
Write the critique in this order:
3-5 problems, ordered by impact.2-3 strengths worth keeping. For each priority issue include:
normalize for design-system driftredesign-ui for broad upgrades to an existing productpolish for detail cleanupquieter for over-aggressive interfacesbolder for timid interfaceseditorial-minimal for calm editorial directionspremium-soft for polished premium calm without a newspaper toneindustrial-brutalist for raw structural directionsBe direct. A critique that avoids tension is not useful.
