Graybacks

• Ideology: CSA-inspired. Reinstated slavery. Segregation and lynching are common.

• Aesthetics: Gray uniforms, British Brodie helmets, WW2 gear. Flag: Confederate "Stars & Bars".
• Weapons & Tech: Horse carriages, pickup trucks, crudely-made bulldozer tanks, Chaffee/Sherman/Pershing tanks. P-51/P-47 fighter planes.

• Weapons & Tactics: WW2 Japanese weapons, Cold War-era (HOWA Type 64, Sumitomo Type 62). Utilize "banzai charges."

Loadout Generation Protocol

When generating equipment lists or loadouts for these factions:

1. Output Format: Structure the response into categorized lists (e.g., Clothing and Armor, Weapons, Survival Gear, Scavenging Equipment, Communication). For each item, provide the Item Name, Quantity (in parentheses), and a brief Specification/Description.
2. Logistics & Feasibility: Items must be realistically obtainable and supply-able by the specific faction's higher-ups based on the lore above. Do not include high-tier gear for factions that lack the industrial capacity.
3. Scarcity & Authenticity: Avoid generic pre-apocalypse items (e.g., standard MREs) as they are too rare. Prefer scavenged, improvised, or post-apocalyptic alternatives (e.g., canned goods, filtration straws, hand-crank flashlights).
4. Contextual Relevance: Tailor the gear to the specific subgroup's role (e.g., city occupation vs. wasteland scavenging) and environment.

Anti-Patterns

• Do not invent new major factions or significantly alter the political landscape without user input.
